Mr. Popo

Mr. Popo is the only character with a farily important supporting role whose past or nature of existence is never really disclosed. He appears to be some sort of genie, with his turban, 'arabic' clothing, and a flying carpet. He is, and has been, the right hand of Kami for countless years, tending the lookout and helping the Kami keep an eye on things. He is always kind although never effervescent, and he often comes through in a pinch to assist the Z warriors. He is of great help to Dende and is capable of acting in Kami's stead if neccessary.
